Subject: My Bubble wrap stats don't make sense!
Not sure if this is a "website" problem as such, so not sure where to post it...
I received the wonderfully looking new BubbleWrap today, and
enjoyed it thoroughly, apart from the Stats section which made no
sense what soever! It read:
0 comments, 0 people favoriting, 12 art views (instead of 46K),
155 writing views (I don't write), 5673 Journal views (I wish!),
Total views 12 (huh?).
Something has gone askew in the process.... Happy to forward you the email if you want.
Regards
George

If you have created more than 1 account on Redbubble you are probably seeing the stats of that other account.

Hi, I do have a second account that points to the same email address, (main is "monocotylidono" but we have "collabs" as a supporting one for the Collaborations group) but these numbers don't make sense for that account either! There is no writing or journals in that account.
In any case, shouldn't a bubblewrap email go out for each individual account?
Regards
George

I checked my 3 account but the stats seems to come mostly from the last account I created except for the writing stats. Your stats seem to be even more of a mixed bag.
I don't know if RB even considered checking if an Email account was used for more RB user accounts. Perhaps somebody from RB admin can clear that up

We had a bit of a mix up with multiple accounts, and what has happened is that it takes the data from the 'newest' account, but if you had 0 in a field, like "writing views" was empty in your newest account, but had 15000 in your old account, it would put the 15000.
It's tough getting this stuff exact with multiple account details as the information all centres around your email address the way we did it.

Thanks for clearing this up Russel. Sorry we are such a rowdy bunch of users..... We do very much appreciate all the work the techies do to keep this rowdy bunch Bubbling.

Dear Russell,
I can go to ebay and see all the images.
But on RB I can only see image placeholders, NO images, no avatar, nothing
However, I can move around RB and email, but just cant see images.
I am located in USA, Southern California, in case you needed to know this.

Hi Russell, thanks for the explanation. I can understand why the query would go wrong if it is based on email (which allows duplicates in the database) instead of the member ID, which is. a primary key. However there is something more than that going on, since the numbers I got in the stats do not correspond to any of my accounts. I don't have writing in any of them, and certainly I don't have that many journal views. And the totals don't add up. Hazarding a guess (without having seen any of the code) I would suggest that some of the variables/fields are not initialized properly between queries, so if the query does not return a value (null) or if the query fails, they reflect whatever the previous query left behind.

Newbie here- I can't seem to locate the path for viewing the stats on my work, if it's been viewed at all etc. I just posted work yesterday, not sure if that's the reason, but I'd appreciate knowing how to view the stats on each of my pieces. Anybody ?
Thanx~~~
Warmly, Susi/Phoenixwmn

@Circe2001 When you are logged in go here. If you recently joined you might not have gotten an Email from Redbubble with your stats and you will have to wait another month for the new stats.
