Am I correct in thinking there is not way to categorize our work? (Place images into specific galleries)?

How are we supposed to organize our work for presentation without some method to do this?

yes there are tags,, but those are too detailed ... any given image may have dozens of tags .. I just want to organize my work into eight specific "galleries".

Wow! that's bizzare.. "folders" , "categories", "galleries".. these are all basic concepts ,,,, been around since day one on any computer or website. ALL the competing "art communities/stores" allow you to create basic galleries...

    What is RB thinking?

So I read that post. I'm not entirely clear on what he's telling me to do.

Is he saying that I should make up a single "tag" (which will be my category) and add it to every image which I would like in said category?

Ok,, if I do this,, how does this create a usable list of "categories" for visitors to use?

Yes, You use one specific tag for each gallery you wish to create
For eg; you would use animals as a tag and use it on all your animal shots.

Then, when you used the URL http://www.redbubble.com/people/melbrackstone/art/everything/tags/beach you would change the name from melbrackstone to your username and you would change the very last word which is beach to animals.

    If you go here
on the right hand side in the description area you will notice she has different categories for
    lensbaby new zealand etc

to place them on your profile or description are you would write your tag word

" beach " : http://www.redbubble.com/people/yourname/art/everything/tags/yourtag it would then appear like this

    beach
