Do you need to have a business license to sell work on here since you have to collect for taxes?

If you're logged into RedBubble you can choose an option that works best for you here": http://www.redbubble.com/mybubble/account/user_agreement

Copied in case you're not logged in

    Tax Status
Do you currently have an ABN (Australian Business Number)?

(find your ABN) My ABN is
    I am registered for GST
I am not registered for GST

If you don't have an ABN, RedBubble may be required to pay 46.5% of your margin to the Australian Tax Office (ATO). RedBubble will not be required to do this if you fall under one of the ATO exemption categories. Please indicate which of the following applies to you:
Exemption Category 1: Selling my creative work on RedBubble is done in my capacity as an individual, and the supply is made in the course of an activity that is a private recreational pursuit or hobby.
Exemption Category 2: I have no reasonable expectation of profit or gain from selling my creative work on RedBubble and consider that I do not meet the definition of an enterprise for taxation purposes.
Exemption Category 3: I am a non-resident who is not carrying on enterprise in Australia.
None of these exemptions apply to me and I am aware that RedBubble may be required to pay 46.5% of my margin to the ATO.

Please note that the ATO requires us to keep a record of this, and you must update your account when your status changes.
